Welcome!
Welcome to Homeschool4Free.com! I’m Kathleen Bailey (Garber), a homeschooling mom of five with a passion for making education accessible to all.

My journey into the online world started in 1999 when, at 16, I began creating websites under the name Callista. That name stuck, leading to my long-time blog, Callista’s Ramblings, where I’ve shared my thoughts and experiences for over two decades.
I live in Canada with my husband and I have three daughters and two sons (ranging from preteens to adults), and our pets—dog Nova, and cats Raiden and Ebony. Three of my children are currently homeschooled, and our approach has always been centered around using mostly free resources with a few paid resources sprinkled in.
Why I Created Homeschool4Free
One of the biggest myths about homeschooling is that it has to be expensive. But it doesn’t have to cost a fortune! I’ve spent years finding and using high-quality free resources, proving that a great education doesn’t have to come with a high price tag.
Most people know about a few well-known free homeschool resources, but there are so many more if you know where to look—and I do! My goal with this website is to share those hidden gems with you and help make homeschooling more affordable and accessible for every family.
I hope you find what you need here and discover new ways to enrich your homeschooling journey for free!
